The social development foundation is one of the leading non governmental social service organizations in Sri Lanka. The services done by this are countless. Some significant works are mentioned below.
Veronica Montisori
Mr and Mrs kugler of Germany has donated to this montizori. It is conducted in a newly built woodern building. 120 children studies here, they have provided wih all the facilities , including lunch, medical services, uniforms. There is a principla and 5 teachers. This complete facility is conducted by the donations from germany. Children effected by the tsunami disaster are given precidency when choosing children.
The kingbery montisoriu of kingbery village in Walahandoowa.
This montizori educates 30 students. There are two teachers. This facility is built and conducted with the dposership of Thissa international Buddhist center of England and Roomto treat Foundation. Here also children effected by the Tsunami is given precidence.
Housing Project for Tsunami victims
With the sponserhip of Saddathissa Buddist Center of England the foudation buil 16 houses and 5 from Vira Padanama and 1 from old boys association of Ananda college colombo houses for the people displaced by the tzunami. These people are provided with all the household equipments.
Helping the children effected by Tsunami
With the help of G.H.F.D foundation of germany , 14 children who lost their parents get Rs 2 500.00 per month for their expenses.
Donating School Equipments
Aftre choosing less priviledged talented students they are supplied with all the euipments , stationaries and other needs every year.
Medical Facilities.
Medical facilities are provided to the children who does not have the capability to get these services.
